JIPIS is a journal published by the Faculty of Ushuliddin Adab and Da'wah UIN Mahmud Yunus Batusangkar. It is a pre-reviewed professional journal with an undergraduate editorial board in Islamic Library and Information Science education. This journal seeks to disseminate research to educators around the world. This journal welcomes the contributions of scientists and experts in the fields of library science, library scientific communication, library information and technology, archives and documentation, digital libraries, library management, knowledge management, digital and information literacy, information services in libraries. This publication was created as an interactive journal, not an electronic version of a traditional print publication. The journal is published regularly twice a year, namely every June (first edition) and December (second edition).
