POLIS is a journal published by the Department of Islamic Political Thought, Faculty of Ushuluddin, Adab and Da'wah, IAIN Batusangkar.

The focus of this journal is all matters relating to the discussion of politics in general and Islamic politics related to local, national and international politics. Specifically, the discussion deals with various themes, starting from political thinking, democracy, foreign policy, conflict and security, regional autonomy, general elections, political parties, comparative politics, political communication, political psychology, issues of the Islamic world and Islamic politics.
