SHARIA COMPLIANCE ON CUSTOMERS’ DECISION TO SAVE IN SHARIAH BANK STUDY ON CUSTOMERS AT A BRANCH OFFICE OF BANK SHARIAH MANDIRI IN BATUSANGKAR

Abstract


This study aims to determine whether the compliance of sharia affects the decision of customers to save at Bank Syari'ah. The type of research used is field research. This field research is conducted by researching directly to customers to obtain the necessary data in the research. This study uses a quantitative approach to process data in the form of numbers as a tool to find information about the effect of customers’ Shariah compliance on their decisions to save at a Shariah Bank. The results of this study shows that the falling of syariah has an influence on the decision of customers to save in Bank Syariah. This is evidenced by the results of R2 test and T-test statistical results. In this study, R2 value of 0.437 was  obtained. This shows that the percentage of Shariah compliance contribution to customer decision is 43.7%, while the rest is influenced by other variables not included in this research. Based on the result of T-test statistics of syariah compliance comparability was obtained by t- observed 8,727 and t-table 1,660, (df = 98) with significance level of 0. 000.  because t-observed  > t-table (8.727> 1.660) H00 (no effect of syariah compliance to customers” decision) is rejected and Ha (the influence of Shariah compliance on the customers” decisions) is accepted. while for is significance is  less than 0.05 (0.000 <0.05).
