IMPLEMENTATION OF LEARNING STRATEGY OF CTL (CTL) IN SUBJECT OF FIQH IN MADRASAH ALIYAH NEGERI SUMPUR DISTRICT OF SOUTH BATIPUH TANAH DATAR

Abstract


Discussion of this paper derives from learning problems facing   the students of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Sumpur. Since the teacher uses lecture in teaching, learning becomes less attractive, the students are  lack of motivation indicated by so many students  playing during teaching learning process.  As a result, the  students’ learning outcomes are not satisfactory and do not reach the passing criteria called KKM. The objectives of the study  are: (1) To  describe the implementation of the learning strategy of  CTL,  and (2) To  describe the results of the implementation of learning strategies of the CTL. This study used qualitative approache. Data collection techniques are observation, interview, and documentation. Validity of the data was checked  based on the criteria of degree of confidence with a triangulation technique and perseverance observation.The results of research  show that  in teaching Fiqh in class XI IPS 1 MAN Sumpur subject area,  the teacher  has been implementing measures of  learning strategies of  CTL  which can thus increase students’  learning outcomes.
