Abstract


This study aims to investigate research trends in Arabic language education in Indonesia, as well as topics that dominate studies in the field. This study used Bibliometric analysis technique with the VoSViewer and Biblioshiny R-Studio applications, and the scientific article data were taken from SINTA-2-accredited Arabic studies journals. The data in this study are of the time-series selection, with the dataset constructed in the period 1995-2023. Based on the findings of this study, the number of scientific articles on Arabic language education has increased significantly over the last decade. The most frequently discussed topics are studies on classical Arabic literature, Arabic learning in Indonesian and Islamic context, and the challenges of learning Arabic. Meanwhile, studies on language learner behavior and linguistic aspects are rarely discussed in Indonesia.
