Alfuad: Jurnal Sosial Keagamaan began on 14 April 2017 or 17 Rajab 1438, initiated by Drs Adripen. MPd, Dr. Irman, M.Pd kons and a number of other lecturers at  UIN Mahmud Yunus Batusangkar. The naming of "alfuad" is based on the suggestion of some leaders of the Faculty and some FUAD lecturers. The reason is the faculty of FUAD is based on religious and Social.
